ASM Flash Mob -- October 2012
Each month, an advisory from level 4 designs a presentation that entertains the audience, informs of happenings in the level, or both. This year, again, the Barn Owls decided to perform a flash mob. A flash mob is typically performed in public spaces without prior knowledge from the "to be" audience. Generally speaking, it is to entertain the public that has found themselves in the same space at the same time as the group who has organized the flash mob. This flash mob was performed to the unexpecting audience of the FGCS second all school meeting. Click the link below and enjoy!

SOLVE Field Site (Nov. 1, 2012)
For two years, FGCS Level 4 students have been working with SOLVE to help restore and manage a site on the edge of Forest Grove. This integration of community and organizations is a key piece of the school's mission; organizations depend on students each year. This year, students are learning about plants and water quality as they transition through stations. Each station provides students with an opportunity to learn more about native plants, planting techniques or invasive removal, and in-depth science protocols for collecting and analyzing data from streams and ponds.
